Donors and organisers during blood donation campaign.
Doha: As a part of social responsibility, Qatar Bloggers – Photographers and Indian Meetup Friends (IMF) organised a Blood Donation Campaign at Aster Medical Center, Al Hilal, recently.
The campaign was held in association with Aster Medical Center and Hamad Medical Corporation.
More than 40 people participated, donating over 75% of units. Donors included members from IMF, Qatar Bloggers group, and staff from the Aster Medical Center.
The camp was held in a safe and secure environment with assistance and support from Hamad Medical Staff and Aster Volunteers.
The campaign included a blood test considering the donor’s hemoglobin levels and the type of blood donated, then a set of questionnaires for the donor regarding their health history.
