Doha: Qatar University College of Medicine (QU-CMED) hosted a visit by French Ambassador Eric Chevallier and his delegation, including Genevieve Nguyen, Scientific and Higher Education Attaché at the French embassy.
The visit discussed opportunities for collaboration and the college’s academic programmes, student performance, and student recruitment and outreach activities.
The delegation toured the College, visiting Anatomy Museum, Skills Lab, Web Microscope facility and other areas.
Chevallier who is also a medical doctor, met first-year students and discussed with them their experiences at the college, interest in the medical profession, plans and aspirations.
The ambassador also praised their enthusiasm, the college’s teaching environment and the way it is motivating students.
