Doha:  Weather in Qatar tonight until 6 a.m. on Tuesday will be cold by night and hazy to misty at places inshore, the Department of Meteorology said in its daily weather report.

Offshore, it will be hazy, the report added, warning of strong wind and high sea by late night.

Wind inshore will be variable speed less than 4 knots at first becoming northwesterly 4 to 12 knots later. Offshore, it will be northwesterly at a speed of 3 to 12 knots, increases from 15 to 25 knots by late night.

Visibility will be 4 to 8 kilometers and 3 kilometers less at places later.

Sea state inshore will be 1 to 2 feet surging from 2 4 feet by late night, while offshore it will be 2 to 3 feet, surging from 4 to 7 feet by late night.
