The participants of the sixth round of the Qatar National Sprint is seen after the event in Doha, yesterday. Luc Mathern Van Der Merwe was the fastest driver with a lap time of 1.22.9 seconds. The Lotus car driver competed in the 3S Category. The second best time went to Lebanese driver Nadim Ziady, who clocked 1.23.4 seconds with a Mitsubishi Evo 8. Compatriot Elie Daccache made the third best time of 1.23.6 seconds with a Renault Clio. The final round saw the participation of 16 drivers in the event which was organised by Qatar Motor and Motorcycle Federation (QMMF). Canadian driver Peter De Vido was crowned the overall winner with 84 points. Pavel Nedobity from Czech Republic and Ziady finished in second and third positions respectively. Van Der Merwe finished the championship in fourth place.
