DOHA: Minister of Culture and Sports, H E Salah bin Ganem Al Ali, honoured Radio Malayalam 98.6 FM for its standing out as the most heard, most popular, and geographically most widely covered radio station in Qatar, as per the recent Radio Listenership Measurement Study conducted by Ipsos, the international media rating agency, among Indian population.
The Ministry also honoured the radio 98.6 FM for its special video on blockade anniversary, which highlighted the achievements of Qatar during the last one year, and also for its excellent coverage of the Emir Cup 2018.
As per the special invitation by the Minister, K C Abdul Latheef, Vice-chairman of Radio Malayalam, visited the Minister and handed over the highlights of the reports and coverage.
Sheikha Najla Al Thani, Director of Radio Licensing Department, Hamad Zakeeba, Director, Print and Publicity Department, Noufal Abdurahman, Radio Malayalam Marketing Manager, and staff members RJ Rijas, Sridevi Joy, Ranjith, Alan, Ajmal were also present at the occasion.
Ipsos study ranked Radio Malayalam 98.6 FM with the highest TRP rating and most familiar among its target audience. It’s social media popularity also marked as the highest and most engaging.
