The Ministry of Interior conducted mock fire drills in Al Samlah 1 facilities of Ras Laffan Emergency & Safety College to assess preparedness of participating parties to deal with emergencies. The General Directorate of Civil Defence, National Command Centre NCC, Lekhwiya, Qatar Petroleum and other entities and ministries took part. Staff-Brigadier Abdullah Mohamed Al Suwaidi, General Director, Civil Defence, said the exercises also aimed to strengthen positives aspects and overcome negative aspects.
