Cologne, Germany: A plane at Germany's Cologne Bonn airport was reportedly evacuated late Friday after passengers said they had overheard a suspicious conversation.
A police spokesman confirmed that passengers had informed crew that they had "concerns about flight safety". The plane and luggage were searched for anything suspicious, but nothing was found, he added. The flight was later cancelled.
German media outlets said that two passengers had suddenly gotten up and left the plane as it was preparing to take off.
Passengers and crew then refused to continue the journey to Palma de Mallorca as there was a "suspicious man" on board.
