Retaj group participates in Sport Day activities

Retaj company staff participating in the National Sport Day celebrations.


 Doha: Retaj company, which includes Retaj Hotels & Hospitality, Retaj Real Estate and Retaj Marketing and Project Management have participated in the National Sport Day activities by organising a march that started from Retaj Al Rayyan Hotel Al Dafna through the Corniche leading to Retaj Royale Doha Hotel.
Participants of this activity included the CEO’s of Retaj group and the head departments and all employees working group, the wonderful march has been led by vice chairman and managing Director of Retaj Group Dr. Mohammed bin Johar Al Mohammed, as well as the CEO of Retaj Real Estate Engineer Ibrahim Yousif AlFakhro, and Retaj Hotels & Hospitality CEO Dr Kamal Sanhaji.
Dr Johar highlighted the importance of sport in our daily lives; he also praised the Qatari global initiative on selecting a day for sports activities, adding that Qatar is the first country in the world that maintains a sports day allows citizens, residents and visitors the possibility of exercise in all state’s facilities. He also added that Qatar from north to south and from east to west has become a stadium and this is something we are proud and gives a clear message to the world that the wise leadership of the state, led by Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani put the health of the Qatari citizen at the forefront concerns.
Dr Johar said Retaj Group participates annually in the Sports Day and encourages all its employees to participate in this national event by adopting a healthy patterns of its members to increase efficiency and productivity in order to contribute to build a powerful nation and be able to meet the challenges of sport and contribute to the success of the World Cup which will take place in Qatar 2022.
Engineer Ibrahim Fakhro, CEO of Retaj Real Estate said the sports day of the state, which was launched in 2012, intended to induce the adoption of a healthy lifestyle for all people of Qatar which pursuant to national Human Development of the citizen in accordance with Qatar Vision 2030 which is also what is Retaj Real Estate objective to ensure that the current and future generations are physically and mentally fit. 
Fakhroo added that the idea of having a dedicated day to promote sport is considered a global precedent and recorded to the state of Qatar and it’s also reflecting the strategic thinking of the decision makers of the state.
Dr Kamel Sendhaj the CEO of Retaj hotels & Hospitality said: “Retaj Hotels & Hospitality is adapting healthy stay for our guests considering ourselves as dry hotels serving the green community and also by including a state of the art health club in our hotels to encourage a healthy lifestyle to short and long stay guests from different segments.
