Doha:Qatar Meteorology Department's weather forecast, valid until 6pm Thursday, warns of expected thundery rain associated with sudden strong wind at first inshore, while it warns of strong wind and high seas and thunder rain at first offshore.
The weather inshore will be partly cloudy to cloudy with scattered rain thundery at times, while offshore it will be partly cloudy with chance of scattered rain maybe thundery at first.
Wind inshore will be northwesterly to northerly 05 to 15/20 knots at places reaching 25 knots during thundery rain, offshore will be northwesterly to northerly 15 to 25 knots reaching 28 knots near thunder at first.
Visibility will be 04 to 08/02 kilometers or less during thundery rain. The sea state inshore will be between one to three feet reaches four feet at places, offshore will be five to eight feet reaches nine feet near thunder at first, the Department of Meteorology said in its daily report.
