Doha: Qatar University College of Arts and Sciences (QU-CAS) and Qatar Red Crescent have signed an Memorandum of understanding (MoU) on coordination and cooperation in the field of studies ,consultations, scientific research , training and implementation programs related to relief and awareness .
The signing of this agreement comes in the context of the overall endeavor to strengthen its partnership with the Qatari society organizations.
Dr. Abdulnasser Saleh Alyafei, Head of Department of Social Sciences and Director of Human Resources Department at Qatar Red Crescent Isa Al Isaac signed the agreement.
Under the agreement, the Social Sciences Department at QU-CAS to conduct quantitative and qualitative studies by a team to check reality of community service in the Qatari society and its development.
Qatari Red Crescent will provide training opportunities for students of Social Sciences Department in first aid, disaster and crisis management, and others.
