Doha: The Ministry of Labour stressed that one of the most important precautionary measures companies should take to avoid the spread of COVID-19 is to increase routine cleaning of workplaces and residences.
On its Twitter handle, the ministry said that it will take all necessary legal measures against all those who neglect the aforementioned precautionary measures.
Ministry has already launched inspection campaigns at housing and workplaces of workers to monitor commitment of companies in implementing the measures taken to protect workers and mitigate the spread of the coronavirus.
The ministry sent awareness messages to company owners regarding preventive and precautionary measures and assigned teams of inspectors to ensure compliance with preventive measures.
