Doha: The Indonesian Embassy in Qatar has temporarily closed its office and will resume operations on January 17.
In an announcement issued yesterday, it said the move is in response to the rapidly rising cases of COVID-19 in the country, and also some staff are in quarantine after testing positive.
In-person services are limited for documents collection only. For application, the Embassy will open on January 20. Applicants who wish to submit should book an online appointment in advance via email at [email protected].
Moreover, it explained that “this policy will be evaluated periodically and comprehensively taking into consideration the current situation of COVID-19 both in Qatar in general and in the premises of the Embassy.”
