Qatar Academy Doha (QA Doha), part of Qatar Foundation’s (QF’s) Pre-University Education (PUE), hosted the Prayer for Rain, following an announcement by Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. The students gathered in the Education City campus to take part in the Prayer for Rain – ‘Salat al-Istisqa’ – which was led by Yasser Ibrahim, lead teacher of Islamic Studies, QA Doha.
A number of QF’s other schools, all of which operate under PUE, also held Prayer for Rain gatherings. QF demonstrates an ongoing dedication to foster and protect local traditions and cultural values.
