The Qatar Chapter of Institution of Engineers (India) bid farewell to Ravi Shankar, a past member of its committee, during a technical event at Indian Cultural Centre on Wednesday. Shankar has been in Qatar since 1982 and worked with Qafco. He was one of the major contributors to Qafco management systems (ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001, ISO 17025 for lab, among others). Seenu Pillai, Honorary Chairman of the chapter, presented a farewell plaque to Shankar.
