Kabul: Qatari Amiri Air Force plane carrying urgent medical aid provided by the Qatar Fund for Development has arrived in the Afghan capital, Kabul.

The aid is part of an air bridge established by the State of Qatar to help alleviate the suffering of the Afghan people following the earthquake that struck eastern Afghanistan. This latest delivery brings the total number of aircraft dispatched to ten.

The shipment includes essential medicines, intravenous solutions, and other vital supplies needed to save lives, aimed at strengthening the capacity of hospitals and healthcare facilities on the frontlines.

Afghanistan’s Ministry of Public Health received the aid to ensure its swift and effective distribution to affected communities.

This assistance reflects Qatar’s continued support for the Afghan people and its firm commitment to humanitarian solidarity and aid for those affected by natural disasters. It also reaffirms Qatar’s consistent approach in providing humanitarian relief despite the Israeli aggression, underscoring its moral responsibility and pioneering humanitarian role at both the regional and international levels.
