Doha: Qatar Women’s Sport Committee (QWSC) confirmed that Qatar’s table tennis national team will participate in the 16th Arab championship, which takes place in Oman from Tuesday.
National team director Nawal Al Dossari leads the Qatari delegation as The Maroon take part in the different age group competitions. The team is currently on a training camp in China that started on July 27 and concluded yesterday.
Teams from 15 countries compete in the tournament.
The Qatari team consists of Mariam Ali, Shahd Al Makki, Shouq Saad, Al Anoud Al Saffar, Maha Ali, Aya Magdi, Maha Faramarzi and Kholoud Abdulreda.
The draw will be held on Monday in line with the decision of the technical and organising committees of the tournament.
