Doha: The Philippine Embassy announced that it will resume operations today, this is after a temporary closure as some employees tested positive for COVID-19.
The embassy was supposed to open yesterday, but as some personnel had not yet receive their results, the closure was extended for another day.
In a statement released by Philippine Ambassador H E Alan Timbayan, he said: “Embassy personnel who were previously on home quarantine for seven days underwent another round of RT-PCR tests on January 8, (Saturday) but they have yet to receive their results.”
