Emir Holds talks with Lebanese President

Doha: The Emir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani held a session of official talks with HE President of the Republic of Lebanon General Michel Aoun at the Emiri Diwan on Wednesday.
The talks session was attended by HH the Deputy Emir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Thani.
It was also attended by HE Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al-Thani, and a number of Their Excellencies ministers.
It was attended from the Lebanese side by members of the official delegation accompanying President Aoun.
During the session of official talks, they discussed a number of regional and international issues, including the developments in the Middle East.
They also reviewed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways of enhancing them in all fields. The two sides agreed to activate the higher joint committee between the two countries, and to promote economic and investment cooperation for the benefit of both sides.
Earlier, the Lebanese President arrived at the Emiri Diwan where he was accorded an official reception ceremony.
