DOHA: A training workshop on hand hygiene will begin today.
The two-day event is organised by the Ministry of Public Health, in collaboration with World Health Organisation.
The workshop aims to train health staff in the use of a unified framework to monitor and evaluate practices of hands hygiene at health institutions and spread the concept of hand hygiene.
Health service providers from the ministry, Hamad Medical Corporation, Primary Health Care Corporation, Qatar Red Crescent Society and several private clinics and hospitals will take part in the workshop.
The event will feature lectures and practical training on how to avoid most infections by maintaining hand hygiene.The Peninsula
