Pyeongchang, South Korea, Sweden's Charlotte Kalla upset a record-breaking Marit Bjoergen as she won the first gold medal of the Pyeongchang Winter Olympics in the women's 7.5km + 7.5km skiathlon on Saturday.

Kalla finished in 40min 44.9sec, 7.8sec ahead of Norway's Bjoergen who still became the most decorated woman in Winter Olympics history as she claimed her 11th medal.
