Doha: Minister of Environment and Climate Change H E Sheikh Dr. Faleh bin Nasser bin Ahmed bin Ali Al Thani met with a delegation of mayors of several cities in the United States of America, who is visiting the country. The meeting reviewed aspects of cooperation between the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change and US cities in the fields of environmental affairs and climate change and ways to develop them, especially in the field of climate change.
The delegation included Mayor of Lansing, H E Michigan Andy Schor; Mayor of Rochester Hills, H E Michigan Bryan Barnett; Mayor of Oklahoma City, H E Oklahoma David Holt; Mayor of Augusta, H E Georgia Dr. Hardie Davis Jr.; Mayor City of Newark, New Jersey, H E Ras Baraka, and Mayor of St. Petersburg, H E Florida Rick Kriseman.
