DOHA: Raising the bar on the standards of luxury, Kia Motors Qatar has introduced the completely redesigned second generation of the Kia Quoris – The Kia K900, for sale in the Qatar market.
The luxury sedan was first introduced in the South Korean market in March and then later in the same month, at the 2018 New York International Auto Show amidst much fanfare.
This all-new, second-gen model is an amalgamation of a sophisticated and gracious exterior, an exquisitely designed interior cabin with premium finishes, and unrivalled performance.
“The all-new 2019 Kia K900 is going to redefine the term premium-luxury in the Qatar automobile market,” said a representative of Kia Motors Qatar.
“Thanks to improvements in its performance, comfort and infotainment systems, the second generation K900 is the most technologically advanced Kia ever to hit the market.”
The exterior proportions of the K900 have been redesigned to make it slightly longer and wider than the outgoing model but thanks to the efforts of the design team, the new model actually looks tighter than its predecessor.
The luxury sedan now measures an impressive 5,120mm in length and 1,915mm in width with a height and wheelbase of 1,490mm and 3,105mm, respectively.
The front fascia of the all-new K900 is a vista of breath-taking beauty, dominated by the ‘Quadric Pattern’ signature grille, which contains 176 gem-like cells, flanked on either side by futuristic headlamps designed in a duplex style to give the viewer a progressive impression.
This conglomeration of grace and beauty is further emphasised by flashes of satin chrome, draped along the base of the doors and rear bumper, forcing the viewer’s gaze downwards to the rich and detailed 19-inch alloy wheels.
The rear of the all-new K900 is a mesmerising echo of the grace and beauty of the front, with similar duplex style rear lamps and satin chrome wrapped exhaust housings, giving an impression of stately luxury. In essence, the exterior of the K900 is the last word in grace and sophistication.
The seats are encased in premium Nappa leather with colour-matched quilting running richly along the seat shoulders. The driver and side-passenger seats are 12-way adjustable, allowing both occupants to find the ideal position.
The front area of the cabin exudes a feeling of exclusivity and privilege, with an uncluttered and ergonomically designed dash, highlighted by a tech-savvy instrument panel, integrated air vents and heated leather steering wheel and gear shift knob.
In terms of technology, the all-new K900 comes equipped with the best of the best in connectivity, infotainment and safety. Nestled above the centre console, is a 12.3-inch HMI touchscreen that displays everything from navigational to climate control information.
