Doha: The 2025 Sports for All summer camp, organized by the Qatar Sports for All Federation, continues at the Lusail Sports Hall, as well as in youth centers, sports clubs, gyms, swimming pools, playgrounds, and public parks. The camp is being held in cooperation with several ministries, public bodies, and institutions.

The summer camp at the Lusail Sports Hall, which runs from Sunday to Thursday for ages 6 to 11, includes a variety of programs, ranging from speed and strength training, recreational games, mini-football matches, Muay Thai self-defense training, stretching, flexibility, and balance exercises, muscle strengthening, and table tennis.

The camp also offered training in skating, curling, and water sports, such as sailing and kayaking, as well as pole-control skills. It also featured an introduction to the importance of healthy eating, educational workshops, religious lessons, and traffic awareness seminars, all aimed at developing knowledge and promoting positive behavior among children.

Executive Director of Qatar Sports for All Federation Abdullah Al Dosari, confirmed that the summer camp, during its second week at the Lusail Sports Hall, has seen a remarkable turnout. The number of participants, both boys and girls, has exceeded 700 since its launch. This reflects the growing community awareness of the importance of exercising for children and the need to utilize the summer vacation to promote physical activity and positive behavior, and to benefit from participating in group activities.

Al Dosari pointed out that the summer camp represents a good opportunity to benefit from quality activities that contribute to making the most of children’s free time, developing their skills, and instilling the concept of exercising as one of the foundations of community building.

This is supported by the ongoing support of the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the programs implemented by the Sports for All Federation, with the goal of creating a promising generation that enjoys health, knowledge, and positive behaviour.
