DOHA: Minister of Transport and Communications H E Jassim bin Saif Ahmed Al Sulaiti met here yesterday with Kuwaiti State Minister for Housing Affairs and State Minister for Services Affairs, Dr Jenan Mohsen Ramadan. They discussed cooperation ties in the fields of transport, communications, ports and aviation and means of further enhancing them.
They also discussed the potential investment opportunities available in both countries and a number of matters of common interest between the two brotherly countries. The meeting was attended by the Kuwaiti Ambassador to Qatar Hafiz Mohammed Al Ajmi and a number of MOTC senior officials and representatives of transport and communications sectors, as well as the delegation escorting the Kuwaiti official.
The Kuwaiti Minister also paid a visit to Qatar Portal Services Company (Qatar Post) and was briefed on company development plans that aim to provide better services via the deployment of latest technologies in the area of postal services.
