The Ministry of Economy and Commerce issued its monthly report on licences of sales and promotions for November, which included 241 licences, while the number of Al Sharq Festival licences amounted to 301. The ministry said that the number of promotional licences, which includes scratch and win, draws for special offers, and promotional offers, stood at 470 in November.
Of the promotional offers, 76 licences were granted for goods at shopping centres and stores, and 381 licences were granted for special offers, including new prices, buy-one-get-one-for-free, buy-one-get-one-at-half-price, while a single license was given to the scratch and win promotions.
The number of licences given to prize draws was 12.
