Doha: The International Centre for Sport Security (ICSS) and Aix-Marseille University are to work together for promotion of sports in Marseilles-Provence region.
At the request of Marseilles-Provence region, the ICSS has joined forces with Aix-Marseille University to advise on the region’s goal to establish a strong and viable sport economic sector and to qualify as the European City of Sport in 2017, the ICSS have said in a press release.
The ICSS and Aix-Marseille University began the collaboration with a scenario development exercise exploring a range of key drivers of potential change which could impact their objectives over the next seven years.
“We look forward to working with a good cross-section of experts from the world of business and commerce, sports clubs and organisations, local government and civic society and academia, to explore those factors that could have a strong influence on sport as an economic and social force for good in Marseilles Provence,” Mohammed Hanzab, President of ICSS said.
