Doha: The Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani discussed with HM King Philippe of the Kingdom of Belgium ways to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries.
This came during a phone call HH the Amir received on Tuesday from HM the King of Belgium.
The call also discussed key regional and international developments of common concern.
HM the King of Belgium hailed the positive and effective role of HH the Amir and the State of Qatar in establishing peace in the region and the world. His Majesty noted Qatar's tireless efforts in mediating a settlement regarding the Gaza Strip and its positive contribution to facilitating the conclusion of a peace agreement between the Republic of Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
