Doha: The Ministry of Commerce & Industry, in cooperation with Nasser Bin Khaled Automobiles, the exclusive distributor of Mercedes-Benz vehicles in Qatar, has announced the recall of 2021 Mercedes-Benz AROCS vehicles, as the steering shaft may have cracks leading to breakage resulting in loss of steering torque.
The Ministry said the recall campaign came within the framework of its ongoing efforts to protect consumers and ensure that car dealers follow up on vehicle defects and repairs.
The Ministry said that it would coordinate with the dealer to follow up on the maintenance and repair works and would communicate with customers to ensure that the necessary repairs were carried out.
