Minister of Labour meets several ministers on sidelines of World Social Development Summit

DOHA: Minister of Labour H E Dr Ali bin Samikh Al Marri met yesterday with Minister of Labour and Social Protection of the Russian Federation H E Anton Kotyakov, on the sidelines of the Second World Summit for Social Development, held in Doha. The meeting reviewed key issues of mutual interest in the field of labour.

Al Marri, met with Minister for the Promotion of Youth, Professional Integration and Civic Service of the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire H E Mamadou Touré.

The meeting discussed bilateral cooperation in the field of labour and ways to enhance joint efforts between the two countries.

Minister of Labour met with Minister of Labour and Employment of the Kingdom of Lesotho H E Ts’eliso Mokhosi, on the sidelines of the Second World Summit for Social Development in Doha.

The meeting focused on bilateral cooperation in the labour sector and explored ways to strengthen and further develop collaborative initiatives between the two countries.

Minister of Labour, met today with H.E. Nada Al-Nashif, United Nations Deputy High Commissioner for Human Rights, on the sidelines of the Second World Summit for Social Development, held in Doha.

The meeting discussed aspects of cooperation and explored ways to enhance and further develop them in the period ahead.

Al Marri met with Minister of Labour and Social Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Hon. Arsen Torosyan, on the sidelines of the Second World Summit for Social Development, held in Doha.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries in the field of labour and explored means to further support and develop them.

Minister of Labour, held a bilateral meeting today with Minister in charge of Labour, Employment, Social Protection, and Vocational Training of the Central African Republic H E Michelle Mouanga, on the sidelines of the Second World Summit for Social Development in Doha.

The discussions focused on key priorities in the labour sector and explored opportunities to strengthen bilateral cooperation, exchange expertise, and enhance workforce development and social protection frameworks.

Both ministers emphasised the vital role of international collaboration in promoting decent work, safeguarding workers’ rights, and advancing inclusive and sustainable employment policies.
