Paris: Owned by Al Shaqab Racing, HM Al Sakeb showed a great attitude when taking the Prix Nejdari Wathba Stallions Cup, for four-year-old and older Purebred Arabians, at Toulouse.
Trained by Thomas Fourcy, HM Al Sakeb scored a third win from his four most recent starts and continues to impress as he rises through the ranks. The four-year-old was ridden to success by Jerome Cabre.
Just like in his win at Dax last time out. The chestnut colt was keen once leaving the stalls and was sent to the lead by his jockey.
Setting a good pace for the 2,100m contest, HM Al Sakeb travelled three lengths clear of his nearest rival Loolwa down the back straight with not many of his seven rivals getting involved. HM Al Sakeb travelled well into the home straight and galloped clear to a three-length success.
