Doha: The weather system affecting the country is expected to reactivate between Tuesday noon (08-03-2016) until Wednesday night (09-03-2016) with chances for scattered rains which may become thundery at times over some areas between Tuesday night and Wednesday daytime, the Qatar Meteorological Department said in a statement.
"Northwesterly to Northeasterly moderate to fresh winds will prevail with strong winds expected during thundery rains (18-25 knots at times). It is worth mentioning that weather charts indicate that a ridge of high pressure will affect the country on Thursday causing stable weather conditions and a noticeable increase in surface relative humidity at night with a forecast for fog over most areas during late night until Friday morning," it added.
