Suicide bombing kills 3 in southeastern Iran

TEHRAN:  At least three people were killed in a car bombing in Iran’s southeastern city of Chabahar on Thursday, according to the state television.

The broadcaster said a suicide bomber drove his explosives-laden vehicle into a police headquarters in the city.

Several people were reportedly injured in the attack.

Provincial governor Rahmdel Bamri told IRNA news agency that gunmen had attacked the police headquarters with the booby-trapped vehicle.

No group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.
