Doha, Qatar: Weather maps indicate that the country will be affected by fresh to strong wind over most areas starting from dawn of Friday, December 8, till Sunday, December 10.
Wind speed is expected to range between 15- 25 knots to 30 knots inshore and from 18-25 knots to 35 knots offshore
Sea height will range between 7-10 feet and reach 12 feet in some areas during this period.
Due to the activity of Northwesterly wind, the horizontal visibility is expected to decrease to less than 2 km as a result of dust.
Temperature is expected to drop considerably during the weekend and is expected range between 11°C -18°C in different areas of the country and the maximum temperature will be between 20°C - 24 °C.
The Meteorological Department urged everyone to be careful and avoid sea activities during this period.
