Turkish Minister of Transport, Marine Affairs and Communications, Ahmet Arslan has paid a visit to Hamad Port accompanied by Minister of Transport and Communications H E Jassim bin Saif Ahmed Al Sulaiti and listened to a detailed description about the project and its scheduled expansion plans, which includes the construction of the second phase and port’s capacity enhancement.
During the visit, Arslan watched some of the port’s operations and commercial vessels movement at container, general cargo and miscellaneous cargo terminals. The Turkish official hailed the advanced equipment installed at the port, which places it among world seaports, affirming that Hamad Port is going to help increase cooperation between Qatar and Turkey.
