Doha: Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy’s (SC) Secretary-General Hassan Al Thawadi, participated yesterday in the general assembly of the European Club Association (ECA) along with several senior football officials, including FIFA President Gianni Infantino, reports QNA.
Al Thawadi stressed SC’s keenness on being present in these occasions, which, he considered an opportunity to deepen ties with European clubs. He added that this participation is also an opportunity to brief all the officials that he met on the ongoing Qatari preparations for hosting a unique World Cup edition in 2022.
He wished success to Paris Saint-Germain President Nasser Al Khelaifi who was elected to the ECA executive committee.
