Doha, Qatar: The National Cyber Security Agency (NCSA) has introduced remote participation for registered students in the third edition of its ‘Cybersecurity Youth Camp 2026’, allowing more than 1,000 students from across the country to benefit from its educational content.
Announcing the initiative in a post on its official X account, the agency said the decision was taken in response to the “overwhelming demand” for the camp, reflecting the growing interest among young people in cybersecurity and digital skills.
The move enables registered male and female students to participate remotely regardless of their location, ensuring that geographical constraints do not prevent them from accessing the camp’s learning opportunities.
“Building a generation aware of cybersecurity starts with expanding access to learning and knowledge,” the agency stated, underlining its commitment to making cybersecurity education more accessible to young people.
The Cybersecurity Youth Camp has become one of NCSA’s flagship awareness initiatives aimed at equipping students with the knowledge and practical skills needed to navigate an increasingly digital world.
The annual programme is designed to introduce participants to the fundamentals of cybersecurity, online safety, cyber threats and responsible digital behaviour through interactive learning experiences.
By extending the programme to remote participants, the agency has significantly broadened its reach, enabling numerous students to take part in the camp’s educational activities despite being unable to attend in person.
The initiative also reflects the increasing use of digital learning platforms to deliver specialised training while ensuring that students from different parts of the country have equal opportunities to participate in national educational programmes.
Cybersecurity awareness has become an increasingly important priority as digital technologies continue to transform education, business and everyday life.
