Doha: H E Sheikh Thani bin Hamad Al Thani crowned the winners of the Qatar Gold Sword and awards of the 42nd race organised by the Racing and Equestrian Club yesterday evening at its grassland in Al Rayyan.
He handed over Qatar Gold Sword to Sheikh Khalifa bin Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Thani, owner of the Red Horse Gazwan, who won the first place in the eighth half, which is dedicated to Arabian horses, for the age of four years and above, and the distance of 2,000 metres.
He presented Qatar Gold Award to Hassan Ali Abdulmalik, handed over Qatar Silver Award to Sheikh Nasser bin Abdullah Al Thani, crowned Khalifa bin Shuail bin Khalifa Al Kuwari with Qatar silver Sword.
