Doha: The Ministry of Commerce & Industry (MoCI), in cooperation with Jaidah Automotive, the exclusive distributor of Chevrolet vehicles in Qatar, has announced the recall of 2007-2014 Chevrolet Tahoe, Suburban and Silverado vehicles due to a possible malfunction in the front passenger airbag Takata inflator.
The Ministry said the recall campaign came within its ongoing efforts to protect consumers and ensure that car dealers follow up on vehicle defects and repairs.
The Ministry said that it would coordinate with the dealer to follow up on the maintenance and repair works and communicate with customers to ensure that the necessary repairs were carried out.
