Tickets sale for one of the most awaited events in Doha - Qatar ExxonMobil Open - kicked off online and in various shopping malls, organisers announced yesterday.
Tickets are available in the malls at City Center, Landmark, Lagoona, Villaggio and Mall of Qatar or online at www.qatartennis.org
The tournament, which brings the best of tennis stars to Doha, will be held from January 1 to 6 at the Khalifa International Tennis & Squash Complex.
Former world No. 1 Novak Djokovic (pictured) is leading a star cast which includes Dominic Thiem, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga, Tomas Berdych, Richard Gasquet and Fernando Verdasco as well as Pablo Carreno Busta, to the event.
“The Qatar ExxonMobil Open has grown to become one of the major cornerstone in the Qatar sports calendar,” said Tournament Director Karim Alami.
“We are proud to host on a yearly basis some of the best players who have always looked forward to starting their season in Qatar. We are looking forward to seeing the fans troop out in large numbers to experience this amazing week of tennis, he added. ,” Tournament Director Karim Alami, says of the upcoming event.
