Doha: Saudi Arabia’s Prince Bandar Bin Sultan yesterday said Qatar hosting the FIA’s annual General Assembly is an achievement for the entire Middle East.
Various important meetings were held during the fourth day of FIA’s annual General Assembly at the St Regis Doha yesterday.
Prince Bandar also spoke about the Saudi Arabian Motor Federation’s (SAMF) strategy. “I would like to confirm that we will work upon a well prepared strategy, based upon taking care of the youth and motor sport fans in particular, in order to have a generation well aware of such type of sport. We (SAMF) promise that we will support this concept through administrative and technical teams to manage this proposal with the assistance of Naif Al Hegilan as a general secretary of the federation and the whole staff. I am sure that we will reach our target which is the promotion of motor sport,” he said. Sheikh Marwan Al Mualla aslo expressed his happiness while attending the FIA meeting.
