SHIRAZ, Iran: Hani Shaaban, the Manager of Shiraz Trial Rally confirmed that all the administrative and technical teams are ready for the first kick off of Iranian Rally according to FIA’s regulations, after inserting this rally into the agenda of Middle East Championship for rally for the current year.
Shaaban stated that Iran motor sport club has exerted great efforts for this event which will be held from September 24 to 26.
He also thanked the management of Iran Club for motor sport for giving him this chance to organise this event which is considered as one of the most important events that Iran witnesses.
He also thanked Nasser Bin Khalifa Al Attiyah -deputy head of FIA- for his approval to include Iran in the agenda of Middle East Championship for rallies and his care for the motor sport either in Iran or throughout middle east and north Africa region, as motor sport is not ju8st a race , it’s more.
About the nature of Shiraz Rally phases 2014, Shaaban confirmed that this rally will be one of the most wonderful rallies of the region due to its geographical diversity, the administrative regulatory procedure.
The first day rally will consist of eight stages while the second day rally will consist of six stages.
It may be mentioned that the name of some certain stages are named after the names of the areas in which the round is conducted, such as Ismael Abad stage, Al Nahr / River stage, Shiraz stage. The service area will be in Berosbolis which is a historical place and a tourists’ destination.
