Paris--Europe's main stock markets closed essentially flat on Thursday, with London's FTSE 100 drifting up 0.09 percent to 6,865.93 points.
Frankfurt's DAX 30 index slipped 0.05 percent to 10,905.41 points, while in Paris the CAC 40 managed a small gain of 0.15 percent to 4,703.30 points.
