DOHA: The Civil Service and Government Development Bureau, represented by the Talent Management and National Human Resources Development Department, has organised the 19th virtual workshop for Ambassadors of the “Performance” (Adaa) system, as part of preparations for the formal performance evaluation phase for 2026.
The workshop focused on ensuring the readiness of performance-cycle forms for the 2026 evaluation process and verifying the accuracy and integrity of the data contained in them.
Discussions addressed the roles and responsibilities of “Performance” system ambassadors and human resources departments in government entities, with particular emphasis on the performance assessment phase for the third quarter.
Participants also reviewed the classification scale for job categories and discussed mechanisms for addressing issues related to the judgment-based evaluation forms used in the 2025 “Performance” cycle.
The workshop further covered the rules governing employee evaluations in cases of secondment and temporary assignment, ensuring that performance assessments are conducted in accordance with the applicable procedures and controls.
A key part of the workshop was devoted to examining the reasons why 2026 “Performance” cycle forms may not have been created and identifying appropriate solutions to address such cases. Participants were also briefed on the mandatory requirements that must be completed to ensure the successful creation and completion of the forms.
Besides, the session highlighted the latest services introduced through the “Mawared” human resources system.
