Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoEHE), represented by the Department of Private Schools and Kindergartens, in collaboration with the Pioneer Generation Education Center, organised the closing ceremony for the “My Values Draw My Identity” project 2024-2025.

The event was held at the Ministry’s headquarters. The ceremony saw the presence of H E Dr. Ibrahim bin Saleh Al Naimi, Undersecretary of the Ministry; Omar Abdul Aziz Al Naama, Assistant Undersecretary for Private Education Affairs; and a number of Ministry officials, school principals, and representatives from ministries and bodies that participated in the project.

The project aims to strengthen national identity and preserve community customs and traditions, rooted in the values of belonging to the homeland. It also seeks to raise awareness about the importance of digital safety, privacy, and security while browsing the internet.

Furthermore, the initiative educates students about factors detrimental to physical and psychological health, protects them from surrounding dangers, promotes the concept of human nature, safeguards them from intrusive cultural and intellectual influences, and fosters a safe, bully-free environment based on respect and tolerance among all students.

In a speech during the ceremony, Al Naama emphasised that the project has proven that values are not merely slogans; they are behaviours, education, and identity.

He highlighted the clear fruits of this year’s efforts, noting that all private schools and kindergartens participated in implementing the project, presenting honourable examples of integrated educational work in cooperation with 20 ministries and institutions that served as national partners.

Al Naama added that honouring the loyal partners, distinguished schools, diligent students, and supportive parents affirms that this success would not have been achieved without everyone’s solidarity and their belief that building individuals is the foundation of national advancement.

The ceremony also featured a national poem recited by student Mubarakah Al Marri, which was well-received by the audience, alongside a video showcasing the importance of instilling values and ethics in students.

For the upcoming academic year 2025-2026, the project’s ambassadors were introduced. Dr. Rania Mohamed, Director of the Department of Private Schools and Kindergartens, handed over the “My Values Draw My Identity” charter to the ambassadors from private school students, a pioneering initiative this year.

Al Naama and Dr. Rania Mohamed honoured the Pioneer Generation Education Center, the project’s strategic partner, and the local partners from participating ministries, bodies, and institutions. Private schools that contributed to the implementation and application of the project over the past year were also recognized.
