Doha, Qatar: Visit Qatar has signed an agreement with The IRONMAN Group, marking the first step towards introducing the renowned IRONMAN 70.3 triathlon series to Doha. Scheduled to take place in the first quarter of 2027, the inaugural event is set to attract athletes and supporters from across the globe to experience a world-class race in the heart of Qatar.
Designed as an early-season race, the Visit Qatar IRONMAN 70.3 Doha triathlon will offer qualifying slots for the IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship and serve as an ideal season opener for athletes preparing for major spring and summer events. Competitors will begin with a swimming race, followed by bike and run courses that showcase some of the country’s most iconic landmarks.
