The EPIQE Series came to its conclusion on Sunday with the Qatar Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe.
Al Shaqab Racing were the clear winners in the owners league, with 61 points against 32 points for Flaxman Stables Ireland and 30 points for Prince Khalid Abdullah.
Benoit Jeffroy, Stud Manager of Al Shaqab in France, received the trophy following the Qatar Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe race at Chantilly on Sunday.
Khalifa bin Mohammed Al Attiyah (pictured), Al Shaqab Executive Director, said: “Winning the EPIQE Series proves Al Shaqab’s excellence in France and ability to win prestigious races against strong competitors as clearly demonstrated by having a score of nearly the double of that of the nearest competitor, Flaxman Stables Ireland as well as winning three legs of the challenge: the Abu Dhabi Poule d’Essai des Poulains and the QIPCO Prix du Jockey Club thanks to Brametot, and the Prix du Haras de Fresnay-le-Buffard–Jacques Le Marois with Al Wukair. Wajnah, fourth in the Abu Dhabi Poule d’Essai des Pouliches and Brametot, fifth in the Qatar Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe, also added to their tally.”
“We look forward to maintaining excellence and winning prestigious titles as Al Shaqab always targets presence at the winners’ enclosure,” Al Attiyah said.
