Doha: Qanat Qarnevale was concluded yesterday across various sites at Qanat Quartier, The Pearl-Qatar. The festival was organized for the second year by United Development Company (UDC), the master developer of The Pearl-Qatar and Gewan Islands.
Following the outstanding success of last year’s version, the festival has witnessed, this year, higher turnout by visitors and residents to The Pearl-Qatar Island.
Visitors and residents had fun taking water taxi rides on the canals and watching shows such as acrobatics, LED dance performances, music performances, glass blowing, water fountain and outdoor cinema shows.
The festival combined arts, music and leisure activities which attracted families in an exciting atmosphere at The Pearl-Qatar, while introducing visitors to the newly opened shops, restaurants and cafés that populate the Qanat Quartier district.
Qanat Quartier is a unique residential area of The Pearl-Qatar Island, known for its magnificent greenery, beach, canals, pedestrian-friendly squares, plazas and Venetian-like experience. The commercial area at Qanat Quartier offers a charming, yet lively environment with boutique shopping and a variety of coffee shops and restaurants to experience.
