Doha: Qatar Media Corporation (QMC) launches the first Spanish-spoken radio in Qatar. QMC already counts radio stations in Arabic, English, French, and Urdu. The new addition will reach the large Hispanic community in the country, especially during the FIFA Qatar World Cup 2022, targeting Spanish-speaking visitors.

The 24/7 radio station will broadcast live shows and content of interest to the Spanish-speaking community in Qatar. Apart from news, there will be live shows, a Latin Billboard Chart Show, special weekend DJ mix shows, and culture capsules on the history and traditions of Qatar.

The radio aims to serve community needs and act as the official source of information between the government and the Hispanic community.
