DOHA: Residents in Qatar are likely to face windy day today as Qatar Meteorology Department has forecast strong wind across the country. Strong winds will lead to poor visibility and blowing of dust. “ Strong wind over all areas and poor visibility is expected at places due to blowing dust,” said the Department in a weather forecast for today.
The Department, on Wednesday, had issued a statement forecasting a windy days on Saturday and Sunday due to the extension of Indian monsoon seasonal low over the region.
The Department has urged all residents to be cautious and to avoid venturing into sea during periods of strong winds as well as to follow latest updates.
