Doha: A video circulating on social media showing heavy rain on the outskirts of Al Khor city has gone viral. The video was published by Rashed Al Muraikhi with a caption "Al Khor City this morning... It looks like a flood!!”
Some comments on the video said that they witnessed heavy rain in Al Khor this morning while on their way to Doha.

Yesterday, Qatar Meteorology Department said this month will bring rain along with frequent fog especially in the first half of January 2022.
QMD stated that weather conditions are partly cloudy at times with a chance of scattered rain that may turn thundery at times.
